The cutout
The cutout is the whole app. So there are four ways to get it right.
Every one of them runs inside your phone. Nothing is uploaded, and none of it needs a connection.
Circle the subject
Draw around whoever you want to cut out and Sticky finds their exact outline — even where your stroke clipped their feet. It is the most accurate mode when several things overlap.
One tap, if it is obvious
Tap something and Sticky tries to cut it out on its own. If it misses, circle it: you never lose the attempt.
Or cut it by hand
With freehand, circle or rectangle, the cutout follows exactly what you draw. Nothing is being guessed.
Then touch it up
When the cutout is not quite right you fix it with your finger: paint back what got left out, erase what came in with it.
Put text on it
Two styles: Caption, in heavy caps, the look stickers have always had; and Plain, which respects what you typed. Outline, color and size, dragged wherever you want it.
Animated stickers too
A GIF or a clip from your gallery becomes an animated sticker. Trim it, frame it, and Sticky squeezes it into the format that WhatsApp accepts.
Where they end up
Your packs, in WhatsApp and Telegram.
Every sticker joins a pack. With three of them you can already send it to WhatsApp, and from that moment on the ones you make show up in your tray by themselves — there is nothing to install again. They import into Telegram as well.

Privacy
Nothing leaves your phone.
Not a policy decision — there is simply no server to send anything to. The cutout, the text and the encoding all happen on the device, which is why Sticky works with airplane mode on.
- No account and no sign-in. There is nobody to give your data to.
- No analytics. Sticky does not measure how you use it.
- No ads and no watermark — not in the free app, not ever.
Why I made it
I hate ads. So this app doesn’t have a single one, and it never will.
I’m Emiliano, a full stack developer, and I make Sticky on my own. I started it for two things: never putting an ad in front of anyone, and saving up to marry Hanna, who lives in Bolivia.
There is a way to chip in inside the app if it is useful to you and you have something to spare. It unlocks nothing: the whole app is already yours.

The things people ask before installing.
Is Sticky free?
Yes, and the whole app is: not a trial, and nothing you can already do ever starts costing money later. Sticky Pro is an optional one-time purchase that lifts the 3-pack limit and adds the full color picker. There are no subscriptions, no ads and no watermarks.
Do my screenshots or photos leave my phone?
No. There is no server to send them to. The cutout, the text and the encoding all run on the device, which is why Sticky works with airplane mode on. The app declares the internet permission for exactly two things: downloading Google ML Kit’s on-device model the first time, and asking Google Play for prices and for the products you already own.
Does it work without a connection?
Yes. Once ML Kit has downloaded its model that first time, every cutout mode works offline, and so does the rest of the app.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no sign-in and no user identifier. Sticky does not measure how you use it and has no analytics.
How does the power-button gesture work?
You set Sticky as your Android digital assistant, by hand and once. After that, holding the power button opens Sticky on top of the app you were in, with a capture of that moment already loaded. It does not listen, does not record audio, does not ask for the microphone, and never receives the text or the structure of your screen. You can hand the role back to Google whenever you want, from Settings › Apps › Default apps.
Will the stickers actually work in WhatsApp?
They are built to WhatsApp’s own spec: 512 × 512 WebP, always under the 100 KB per-sticker ceiling, in packs of 3 to 30. Sticky handles the format so you never have to think about it.
How many packs can I have?
Three on the free app, as many as you want with Pro. A pack holds between 3 and 30 stickers, which is WhatsApp’s limit and not ours.
Is it on Google Play yet?
Not yet. Sticky is finishing its testing round and launches on Google Play soon. There is nothing to pre-order and nothing to sign up for. It is Android only.
